I will add: all this is a Marxist subversion tactic, and people love hopping onto hostage bandwagons, so they work. And this isn't exactly in conflict with what you said, but when you have unhealed hurts from your parents (as many do post-sexual revolution) you take those issues with authority to God. Marxism loves preying on those hurts, and it becomes a war of competing religions. There's a psychological as well as carnal factor.
But of course, one can still have all these struggles and still ultimately realize they love God more than they love feeling like the Most Oppressed Proletariat Ever.
I think we need to be careful about lumping all deconstructiontogether with deconversion. They are not identical, and not all deconstruction leads to deconversion. Sometimes it's more about disentangling the enculturated expression of faith one grew up in from.
